  • CME To List Mexican CETES, TIIE Interest Rate Contracts On April 28

    Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) will list 91-day Mexican Treasury Bill (CETES) and 28-day Mexican Interbank Equilibrium Interest Rate (TIIE) futures for trading beginning April 28, 2003 at 8 a.m. (Central time). The contracts will trade side-by-side on the trading floor and on the GLOBEXÒ electronic trading platform.

The bank tumbled 80t to a new 52-week low of P13.00 on over 350,000 shares, making it the week's most active stock. BIHL stayed unchanged at P2.15 on 95,960 shares with Inco adding 10t to a new record high of P5.50 following the successful conclusion of the Securicor deal. Chobe lost 2t to 75t on 231,431 shares with full year results just around the corner and Sechaba also lost ground as it lost 5t to P7.
