LME Disciplinary Action Against Enron Metals Limited

The attached notice to all members of the London Metal Exchange gives details of disciplinary action by the LME against Enron Metals Limited, resulting from persistent failures to ensure the timely delivery of warrants and failures over the inputting of trades into the matching system. These failures were in breach of regulation 9.6 (b) of part 2 of the LME rules.

Eurex Appoints Peter Reitz To Executive Board

The Eurex Board of Directors will appoint Peter Reitz (35) to the Executive Board, effective August 1. He will be in charge of business development at the world's leading derivatives exchange. Eurex made the announcement on Tuesday. Reitz comes from Dow Jones & Company, New York, where he has been responsible for product development and business development worldwide as Executive Director in the index division.
