SEC Seeks Candidates For Membership On The Investor Advisory Committee

The Securities and Exchange Commission is seeking candidates for appointment as members of the SEC’s Investor Advisory Committee, established pursuant to Section 39 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 to help protect investors and improve securities regulation. Candidates will be considered for open at-large membership positions on the committee, as well as for a position as the member who is representative of the interests of senior citizens, as provided in the statute.

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) marked today, Thursday, January 22nd, 2026, with a “Ring-the-Bell” ceremony to commemorate the signing of a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association (EABA). The agreement forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional collaboration between state entities and the business community. The ceremony was held at EGX headquarters and was attended by senior executives from both organizations, along with members of the Association’s board. Amman Stock Exchange Receives A Delegation From The Jordanian Judicial Institute

Over two days, the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) hosted students from the Jordanian Judicial Institute as part of a field visit to the Jordanian capital market institutions (the Jordan Securities Commission, the Amman Stock Exchange, and the Securities Depository Center), with the aim of learning about the trading mechanism in the ASE, and becoming familiar with the nature of the work of capital market institutions and the services they provide, in addition to the legislation regulating their work, which contributes to enhancing knowledge of the importance of the role that market institutions play in the national economy.
