Warsaw Stock Exchange: Indices Portfolio Adjustment

The Warsaw Stock Exchange would like to inform that after the trading session on December 20, 2002, quarterly adjustments to the WIG20 and MIDWIG indices were carried out, as well as quarterly revisions of the WIG, TechWIG and WIRR indices. The new portfolios of all the indices are available on the WSE's web site - www.wse.com.pl (under Market Data -> Indices).

UK's Financial Services Authority Fines Credit Suisse First Boston International GBP4 Million

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has fined Credit Suisse First Boston International (CSFBi) GBP 4 million for attempting to mislead the Japanese regulatory and tax authorities. This is the highest fine ever imposed by a UK financial regulator.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index: After the close of trading on Thursday, December 19, 2002, the shares of TSO3 Inc. (TSXVN:TOS) and Dorchester Energy Inc. (TSXVN:DEI) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index. The shares of TSO3 Inc. will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange at the open on Friday, December 20, 2002. Dorchester Energy Inc. has been acquired by Celtic Exploration Ltd. (TSXVN:CLT).

NYBOT Announces Changes To Listing Schedule For December 2003 NYSE Composite Index® Futures And Options Contracts

The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT®) announced today that effective with the opening of trading on Monday, December 23, 2002, the December 2003 NYSE Composite Index futures contract will be delisted from trading and the December 2003 NYSE Composite Index options contracts will not be listed for trading as long as there is no open interest in the futures contract as of the close of business Friday, December 20, 2002.

London Stock Exchange: Banco De Chile Joins The Ranks Of International Companies In London

The London Stock Exchange today welcomed Chile's second largest private bank to its markets. Banco de Chile is the first Chilean company to list in London and its American depositary receipts started trading in London today.
