TSX Venture Exchange President Highlights Alberta Accomplishments - Alberta Leads New Listings To The TSX Venture Exchange In 2002

"Alberta has been the most dynamic part of our market in recent years," TSX Venture Exchange President told an audience at a breakfast meeting of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce. "Alberta doesn't have the largest number of listings on the TSX Venture Exchange but we are seeing a measure of success in this province."

Several scrips in the Banks and Investment (B&I) Sector declined during the week ended Thursday, Sep 12, 2002, resulting in a 0.9% decline in the B&I Index. The London Stock Exchange today announced that its new covered warrant market will be launched on 28 October 2002.
