Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, July 6, 2004: The shareholders of Progress Energy Ltd. (TSX:PGX) and Cequel Energy Inc. (TSX:CQL) have approved a plan of arrangement whereby the two companies will combine their producing assets into an income trust called Progress Energy Trust.
