    Crude oil calendar spread options set a daily volume record on the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., yesterday, when 12,600 contracts were traded, surpassing the previous record of 11,010 contracts set on April 13, 2004.

  • New York Mercantile Exchange And Taiwan Futures Exchange Sign Memorandum Of Understanding

    The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., and the Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX) announced today that they have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop areas of cooperation and business opportunities with the goal of enhancing the liquidity, efficiency, and integrity of the markets of both exchanges.

  • New Exchange Council Of The Frankfurt Stock Exchange Elected

    A new Exchange Council for the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse) was elected on Thursday. All companies admitted to trading on the exchange and all companies with shares listed on the official or regulated markets of the FWB, which constituted around 1,400 companies from 17 countries, were eligible to participate in the elections. The Exchange Council was elected for a period of three years.

    The derivatives exchange Eurex announced the election on Thursday of its new Exchange Council. Around 400 companies from 18 countries, which are admitted to trading on the exchange, were eligible to vote. The Exchange Council of Eurex Deutschland was elected for a term of three years.
