For the week of July 12th – July 16th, 2004, total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on the RTS) reached 620 thousand contracts and 4 585 million rubles. Total open interest as of July 16th, 2004, equaled 6 404 million rubles and 815 thousand contracts.

Eurex US Reports Record Trading Volume - Nandapurkar: Customers Responding Enthusiastically To Eurex US - Daily Trading Volume Increases Over 700 Percent, Open Interest Doubles

Eurex US, the fully-electronic U.S. futures and options exchange, today reported its best volume week since the launch of the exchange on February 8. In the week beginning July 12, a total of 206,778 U.S. Treasury futures contracts were traded on Eurex US. Daily average volume traded on the exchange in July rose 700 percent to 23,922 contracts, up from 2,768 contracts in June. Shares in Epigenomics AG were traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB) for the first time on Monday. Epigenomics used the pan-European trading platform Xetra to determine the initial price of its shares.

Deutsche Börse Aims To Intensify Cooperation With SWX - The SWX Association Is Scrutinising The Proposals

The SWX Group received an invitation by Deutsche Börse to commence talks on intensifying cooperation between the two exchanges. The SWX Association, owner of SWX Group, is currently scrutinising the proposals. The intention of both parties is to hold negotiations in a confidential environment, and they have agreed not to comment. The SWX Group and Deutsche Börse own as a 50:50 partnership Eurex, the derivatives exchange founded in 1995 and based on a successful cooperation model.

Copenhagen Stock Exchange: Information On Indices In Connection With The Listing Of Group 4 Securicor, Falck And Group 4

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the Copenhagen Stock Exchange is going to list three new shares: Group 4 Securicor, Falck and Group 4. The listings are a result of the demerger of Group 4 Falck into Group 4 and Falck and the merger between Group 4 and Securicor and the formation of the company Group 4 Securicor. We would like to specify their inclusion in the Exchange’s indices.
