  • The MICEX Index Now Includes Shares In Gazprom And Some Other Issuers’ Securities

    As of this day, the basket of securities comprising the MICEX Index will include common shares in Gazprom, Mobile TeleSystems, Uralsvyazinform, RBK Information Systems as well as preference shares in Transneft. Preference shares in AvtoVAZ, preference shares in Rostelecom, preference shares in Tatneft and common shares in YUKOS have been excluded from the MICEX Index. In accordance with the revised calculation methodology, the maximum weight of each security in the MICEX Index will not exceed 15

  • Quarterly Rebalancing For S&P Global 100, S&P Europe 350, S&P Asia 50, S&P Latin America 40, And S&P/ASX 50 Indices

    Standard & Poor's, as part of the quarterly rebalancing, will update the shares outstanding for several constituents of the S&P Global 100, S&P Europe 350, S&P Asia 50, S&P ASX/50, and S&P Latin America 40 Indices. These changes as well as an Investible Weight Factor (IWF) update for the S&P/ASX 50 Index will become effective after the close of business Friday, March 17, 2006.

  • OMX’s Baltic Exchanges Launch The Baltic Market Awards

    Today OMX’s exchanges in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius launch The Baltic Market Awards. The annual contest will identify and rank the best Baltic market participants. The contest runs during 2006 and assesses all listed Main and I-list Baltic companies’ investor relations and member trading activities. The winners are awarded at a prize ceremony held at the end of the year.
