  • Indexchange With New Licenses For Asia/Pacific Select Dividend, China Offshore And Eurozone Sustainability Indexes

    Indexchange, the German investment company that specializes in exchange-traded funds, has signed a licensing agreement with Dow Jones Indexes, STOXX Ltd. and SAM Group to issue financial products on the Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30 Index, the Dow Jones China Offshore 50 Index, and the Dow Jones Euro STOXX Sustainability 40 Index. These three indexes will serve – for the first time - as underlying for exchange traded funds.

  • Deutsche Börse Launches New DAX Indicator Based On DAX Future Prices; X-DAX Offers Indicative DAX Calculation During Extended Eurex Trading Hours

    Deutsche Börse introduced a new index on Monday, offering an indicative DAX® calculation from 5.45 p.m. to 10 p.m. Central European Time (CET). The new index is based on the futures contract on the DAX traded on the derivatives exchange Eurex. The X-DAX is calculated in addition to the existing L-DAX index, calculated from 5.45 p.m. to 8 p.m. CET on the basis of the floor prices on the FWB Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

  • Deutsche Börse Cancels 3.9 Million Own Shares

    On 10 April 2006, Deutsche Börse cancelled 3.9 million own shares. This measure, which was announced in February, reduces the number of shares in the company to 102.0 million and the company’s share capital to €102.0 million. The cancelled shares had been bought back as part of the ongoing capital management program.

The jury’s vote for the winning paper went to „Analyst Hype in IPOs: Explaining the Popularity of Bookbuilding“ by François Degeorge, François Derrien and Kent L. Womack (University of Lugano, University of Toronto and Dartmouth College, respectively).
