CBOT Fed Funds July Settlement
The CBOT® 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract for July 2004 will be cash settled this morning at a final settlement price of 98-736, for an average daily effective federal funds rate of 1.264 percent during the delivery month. Please refer to the attached spreadsheet for more information regarding the calculation of this settlement.

American Stock Exchange Reduces Transaction Fees For Options - Second Phase Of Three-Step Process That Will Cut Fees From 30 Cents To 20 Cents
The American Stock Exchange (Amex) announced today that, as part of its second phase of a three-step process, it has reduced transaction charges for equity options contracts. On May 1st transaction charges were reduced from 36 cents to 30 cents; August 1st they were cut to 25 cents; and on December 1st charges will drop to 20 cents. These are charges for Amex specialists and market makers.

Tokyo Stock Exchange: TOPIX Dissemination Interval Change
Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) announced today that it will change the dissemination interval of TOPIX and its sub-indices to every fifteen seconds starting in April 2005.* The indices are currently disseminated once a minute to securities companies, information vendors, and others through TSE’s Market Information System (MAINS).

Standard & Poor’s will make the following change in the S&P/TOPIX 150 and S&P Japan 500 Indices effective after the close of trading, Friday August 6th 2004: Aeon Co., Ltd. (Japan, SEDOL: 6480048, GICS: Consumer Staples, GICS Code: 30101040) a member of the S&P/TOPIX 150 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 27,000,000 to 360,274,674 due to its public offering.

Nasdaq To Disseminate New Index On NIDS, August 10, 2004
The Nasdaq Stock Market® will begin disseminating the America’s Community Bankers NASDAQ IndexSM. The index will be disseminated every 15 seconds under the symbol "ACBQ" on the Nasdaq Index Dissemination ServiceSM (NIDSSM) data feed via the Index Detail message (Category I – Type I).
