Euronext announces that it has received a request submitted by Winchfield Holdings NV (and copied, according to its letter, to the Children’s Investment Fund Management (UK)LLP) asking that there be included, which will be done, on the agenda of the AGM of 23 May 2006 a discussion and subsequent vote by the AGM of the principle that a merger between Deutsche Börse AG and Euronext NV is in the best interests of all the shareholders of Euronext.

Deutsche Börse Launches All Share Index For Entry Standard - 31st Listing In The Segment Provides Basis For New Index

Deutsche Börse will be calculating an All Share Index in addition to the selection index, Entry Standard, containing all companies in this segment of the Open Market starting Wednesday. As announced at the launch of the Entry Standard, the calculation of the Entry All Share Index was to begin as soon as over 30 companies were listed in this segment on Xetra. This was achieved on Monday, with the admission of Solar2. This will not initially affect the composition of the selection index, which is
