Tokyo Financial Exchange: Extension Of Fee Waiver Program For Three-Month TONA futures

To promote the active trading and greater market liquidity of Three-month TONA futures further, Tokyo Financial Exchange Inc. (“TFX”) will extend the period of the fee waiver program for the new product until the end of March 2024. TFX is committed to revitalizing the financial markets with these initiatives.

- The TF2406 5-year China government bond futures contract is scheduled to be listed on September 11, 2023 at the listing benchmark price of RMB 101.59.
- The T2406 10-year China government bond futures contract is scheduled to be listed on September 11, 2023 at the listing benchmark price of RMB 101.295.
- The TS2406 2-year China government bond futures contract is scheduled to be listed on September 11, 2023 at the listing benchmark price of RMB 101.065.
- The TL2406 30-year China government bond futures contract is scheduled to be listed on September 11, 2023 at the listing benchmark price of RMB 98.75.

HKEX: No Trading Today In Securities And Derivatives Markets Due To Black Rainstorm Warning And Extreme Conditions

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announces that all trading sessions today (Friday) in the securities and derivatives markets, including After-Hours Trading session, have been cancelled, due to a Black Rainstorm Warning remaining in force and the announcement of Extreme Conditions by the Hong Kong Government.

CFFEX: Notice On Issues Related To The Delivery Of Equity Index Futures And Options Contracts

Pursuant to the Trading Rules of China Financial Futures Exchange and relevant detailed implementation rules, the last trading day of a CSI 300 Index futures, SSE 50 Index futures, CSI 500 Index futures, CSI 300 Index options, CSI 1000 Index futures, CSI 1000 Index options, and SSE 50 Index options contract is the third Friday of the expiry month. Where the last trading day is a public holiday or trading of that contract is suspended on that day for extraordinary situations or other reasons, the last trading day shall be postponed to the following trading day. Accordingly, the last trading day of IF2309, IH2309, IC2309, IO2309(CSI 300 Index options contracts expiring in September 2023), IM2309,MO2309(CSI 1000 Index options contracts expiring in September 2023),and HO2309(SSE 50 Index options contracts expiring in September 2023) is September 15, 2023.

Dissenting Statement Of CFTC Commissioner Summer K. Mersinger Regarding Enforcement Actions Against: 1) Opyn, Inc.; 2) Deridex, Inc.; And 3) ZeroEx, Inc.

The Commission has been presented with a package of three proposed, and unusual, enforcement actions. Although each case presents different facts, they have been lumped together for Commission consideration and vote (presumably for messaging purposes) as “DeFi” cases. That is, each case involves a decentralized finance (“DeFi”) protocol – a collection of smart contracts residing on a blockchain that replicates certain functions of the traditional financial system in a decentralized manner.

CFTC Issues Orders Against Operators Of Three DeFi Protocols For Offering Illegal Digital Asset Derivatives Trading

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission today continued its enforcement focus in the digital asset decentralized finance (DeFi) space, by issuing orders simultaneously filing and settling charges against Opyn, Inc., a Delaware-registered company based in California; ZeroEx, Inc., a Delaware company based in California; and Deridex, Inc., a Delaware company based in North Carolina.

Linus Financial Agrees To Settle SEC Charges Of Unregistered Offer And Sale Of Securities - SEC Declines To Impose Civil Penalties Because Of Firm’s Cooperation And Prompt Remediation

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced settled charges against Linus Financial, Inc. for failing to register the offers and sales of its retail crypto lending product, the Linus Interest Accounts. The SEC determined not to impose civil penalties against Linus Financial because of the Nashville-based company’s cooperation and prompt remedial actions.
