NASDAQ OMX And Moscow Exchange Launch Partnership To Promote The Russian Tech And Biotech Community - Co-Operation Aims To Promote Growth And Listings On Both Exchanges

NASDAQ OMX (NDAQ) and Moscow Exchange (MOEX) today announced the signing of a co-operation agreement. Within this agreement both exchanges will work jointly in further developing the Russian technology and biotechnology community. The aim of the co-operation is to jointly facilitate access to capital for the fast growing Russian start-up community and to promote listings at both exchanges.

Treasury International Capital Data For August

The U.S. Department of the Treasury today released Treasury International Capital (TIC) data for August 2013. The next release, which will report on data for September 2013, is scheduled for November 18, 2013.

New Initiatives To Strengthen China-Singapore Financial Cooperation

Singapore and China today agreed on new initiatives to strengthen cooperation on financial sector development and regulation. The agreement was reached at the 10th Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC), co-chaired by Singapore Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security, and Minister for Home Affairs, Mr Teo Chee Hean, and People’s Republic of China Vice Premier of the State Council, Mr Zhang Gaoli.
