In the corresponding period 2015, the market transacted a total of 1,702,220,992 shares at a total consideration of MK32,406,836,068.76 (US$73,603,942.73) in 357 trades. This reflects a -94.65% decrease in terms of share volume and a -96.94% (-98.06% in US Dollar terms) decrease in share value.

Fluxys To Start ZTP Balancing Operations On PEGAS As of 1 October 2016

Bank Of China (BoC) Becomes First Chinese Financial Institution To List A Green Bond On The Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE)

On July 13, 2016, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) listed, and admitted to trading on its Euro MTF market, four green bonds issued by the BoC. The bonds were issued by BoC under its US$20,000,000,000 Medium Term Note Programme. Proceeds raised from the issuance of these green bonds will be used to finance projects that will promote renewable energy, pollution prevention, clean transportation and sustainable water management.

Hong Kong's Securities And Futures Commission Bans Chan Hau Wing For Two Years

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has banned Mr Chan Hau Wing from re-entering the industry for two years from 13 July 2016 to 12 July 2018 for conducting unauthorized trades in a client’s account (Account) and acted contrary to the internal policy of Yue Xiu Futures Company Limited (Yue Xiu Futures) (Note 1).

Thomson Reuters today announced the launch of its Org ID managed service solution for Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence in South Africa, together with design partner banks Barclays Africa, Rand Merchant Bank (a division of FirstRand Bank) and Standard Bank of South Africa, who have all committed to use the Org ID service to perform KYC on their populations of corporate and institutional banking clients.

OpenDoor Becomes First Women-Owned Bond Trading Platform - Closes $10 Million Capital Raise In Run-Up To 2016 Treasury Launch

Following the closing of a $10 million investment round, OpenDoor Trading, LLC (“OpenDoor”) has become the first U.S. bond trading platform both majority-owned and majority-controlled by women.
