Intercontinental Exchange Announces Launch Of 81 New Energy Contracts

Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE:ICE), the leading global network of exchanges and clearing houses, today announced the introduction of 81 new energy futures and options contracts on December 14, 2015, subject to the satisfactory completion of applicable regulatory processes.

Summary:
- Nifty 50 closed at 7935.25 as on November 30, 2015, a decrease of 130.55 points (-1.62 %) as against 8065.80 as on October 30, 2015. The free float market capitalization of Nifty 50 index was USD 423.77 Bn. as on November 30, 2015 as against USD 440.91 Bn. as on October 30, 2015. The free float market capitalization of Nifty Next 50 index was USD 83.19 Bn. as on November 30, 2015 as against USD 85.75 Bn. as on October 30, 2015.
- Many of the equity indices across categories declined during the month. Nifty PSU Bank index gained the most (6.79%) amongst all the indices during the month whereas the Nifty Pharma index (-12.74 %) was the biggest loser during the one month period ending November 30, 2015.
- During the 3 month period ending November 30, 2015, the biggest gainer is Nifty High Beta 50 (10.79%). During the same period, other indices which gained by more than 5% are Nifty Midcap 50 (8.59%), Nifty Energy (7.81%), Nifty Realty (7.41%), Nifty Smallcap 100 (7.34%) and Nifty Auto (6.71%).
- The biggest gainers during the 1 year period ending November 30, 2015 in their respective index categories are Nifty Midcap 100 (6.94%) in broad market index category, Nifty MNC (5.19%) in thematic index category, Nifty Alpha 50 (16.12%) in strategy index category and Nifty Media (4.62%) in sectoral index category.

Deutsche Börse: Subscription Launch For UBM Development AG Bond In Entry Standard

UBM Development AG is issuing a corporate bond (ISIN DE000A18UQM6) in the Entry Standard on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The bond is open for subscription from today, 30 November 2015 until 4 December 2015, subject to early termination of the subscription. It has an issue volume of up to €75 million, with an additional contingent increase of up to €100 million. The corporate bond runs for five years, the coupon is 4.25 percent and its nominal denomination is €1,000.

It is a great pleasure to deliver my remarks on the occasion of the annual general meeting of IBA Japan.
I would like to begin by talking about a proverb that relates to me. My family name is “Mori”, which in Japanese means “Forest”. As the proverb “You cannot see the forest for the trees” goes, a regulator has to grasp the condition of the whole financial system, not just specific aspects of individual institutions. On the other hand, it can also be said that “You cannot see the trees for the forest.” Each and every bank matters. The devil is often in the detail. In short, it is always important to have both micro- and macro-perspectives. I suppose similar things may apply to running a bank as well.

Deutsche Börse introduced a more advanced version of its Xetra electronic trading system on Monday. With the new 16.0 release, the operator of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange offers its customers new matching functions specially designed for larger volume orders. In addition hardware optimisation has furthermore led to an overall performance improvement and reduction in latency.
