Based on the order book statistics, Boerse Stuttgart generated turnover of around EUR 11,5 billion in April, around 20 percent more than in the same month of the previous year.

Cboe Clear Europe is pleased to announce the expansion of its clearing services to include cryptocurrency-backed exchange-traded products (ETPs), following recent regulatory approval. ETPs eligible for clearing will be required to meet specific criteria based on market capitalisation, and underlying asset availability and product types, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, XRP, and BNB. We will now work with venues that list these eligible products and look forward to sharing go-live dates in due course.

Westpac is to pay a penalty of $3.25 million for misleading customers entitled to advertised discounts as well as overcharging some of its business customers. Westpac admitted its conduct in civil proceedings brought by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) – Te Mana Tātai Hokohoko – at the High Court in Auckland in December 2024.

US Financial Associations Recommend Action To Remove Barriers To Digital Assets Innovation

A coalition of financial services trade associations urged the President’s Working Group on Digital Asset Markets to support efforts to remove barriers to financial institutions engaging in digital asset activities. The associations include the Bank Policy Institute, American Bankers Association, American Fintech Council, Americas Focus Committee of the Association of Global Custodians, Financial Services Forum, Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and The Clearing House Association.
