OneChicago Announces Trading Volume For June 2018

OneChicago, LLC (ONE), a securities finance exchange, today announced its June 2018 volume of 596,352, a decrease of 77% year-over-year. OneChicago is a CFTC and SEC regulated exchange offering Single Stock Futures (SSF), a Delta One product, on approximately 1,800 equities, including ADRs and ETFs.

CFTC Charges Operator Of Commodity Trading Fund With Defrauding Fund Participants

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC or Commission) today filed a civil enforcement action in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, charging Defendant Harris Bruce Landgarten of Old Brookville, New York, with defrauding participants in a commodity pool that he operated, the Tradeanedge Members Fund (TMF). The CFTC Complaint also charges Landgarten with providing his pool participants false account statements and with commingling pool funds with non-pool funds.

SEC Charges KBR For Inflating Key Performance Metric

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged global engineering and construction company KBR Inc. for inflating a key performance metric known as work in backlog. KBR agreed to pay a $2.5 million penalty to settle the SEC’s charges.

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the premier post-trade infrastructure for the global financial services industry, today announced that it will be enhancing its Global Trade Repository[1]service (GTR) in support of the next phase of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s (MAS) derivatives trade reporting requirements which are scheduled to take effect on 1 October 2018. Under the new regulations, firms will be required to report their equities and commodities transactions to MAS, in addition to the credit, interest rate and FX asset classes which already fall under the regime.

Nasdaq Welcomes 151 New Listings In First Half Of 2018

Nasdaq (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today that it welcomed a total of 151 new listings in the first six months of 2018 – including 93 initial public offerings (IPOs), raising a total of approximately $15 billion in the U.S. market. With a 69 percent win rate, Nasdaq has extended its IPO leadership to 18 consecutive quarters in the U.S.

EEX Trading Results For June 2018 - EEX Significantly Multiplies Volumes In Dutch Power Futures And EUA Secondary Market

In June 2018, the European Energy Exchange (EEX) increased volumes on its power derivatives markets by 28% to 231.1 TWh (June 2017: 181.2 TWh). On the Dutch power market, volumes increased by 141% to 3.2 TWh (June 2017: 1.3 TWh). EEX achieved strong double-digit growth in the markets for France (22.0 TWh, +22%), Italy (44.5 TWh, +46%) as well as in power options (9.3 TWh, +45%). Volumes in Phelix-DE Futures increased to 132.7 TWh.
