FTSE Announce Collaboration With Cyprus Stock Exchange

FTSE, the global index provider, today announce the creation of a specially designed index for the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CySE). The index, titled the FTSE/CySE 20, will be the benchmark for investment in Cypriot stocks and begins trading on 01 December 2000.
Eurex At High Level Again In November - 37.2 Million Contracts Traded

Eurex, the international derivatives market, posted turnover of 37.2 million contracts traded in November, slightly ahead of the previous year's level. A total of more than 419 million contracts have already been traded this year. Eurex is thus continuing to expand its position as world market leader.

Hard red spring wheat futures posted record trading volume on Wednesday, November 29, 2000. A total of 13,489 contracts traded. Open interest in hard red spring wheat futures stands at 22,824 contracts. The previous daily volume record, established February 25, 2000, was 11,450 contracts.
