Eurex Introduces Release 4.1 - New Trading Software For Derivatives Trading At EEX

Eurex, the international derivatives market, successfully launched Release 4.1, a new software version of the Eurex trading system, on Monday. About 440 participants from 16 countries implemented the new software together with Eurex, as the derivatives market reported in Frankfurt on Monday.

Accordingly, the start of the New York evening trading sessions for the New York Board of Trade’s (NYBOT) FINEX and New York Futures Exchange (NYFE) divisions will revert to 7:00 p.m. and recess at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) beginning with the Sunday, October 29, 2000 evening session. During Daylight Savings time, the trading sessions began at 8:00 p.m. and ended at 11:00 p.m.
