The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc., today announced that it has become the first U.S. stock market to meet the ISO 9001 standards for quality management and assurance set forth by the International Organization of Standards. Nasdaq® is also one of the first organizations globally to be certified under ISO 9001: 2000, the latest series of international standards.

London Stock Exchange Adds To Its International Retail Service

The London Stock Exchange today announced the addition of 45 stocks to its International Retail Service. The service, which commenced trading on 30 April 2001, now covers 155 stocks from across ten different countries, including the Dow Jones 30 which incorporates household names such Coca Cola, McDonalds and IBM.

Gemplus International Replaces Sidel In Next 150 As Of 13 June 2001

Following the official result of the takeover bid by Tetra Laval SA for the French company Sidel, Sidel will be deleted from the Next 150 index with effect from Wednesday 13 June 2001, in accordance with rule 6.3.3 of the index ground rules.

CME Sets Open Interest Records In Days Before Contract Expirations

Open interest in CME's benchmark Eurodollar futures and options as well as E-mini Nasdaq-100 futures reached new highs on Friday, June 8. The highs follow a string of new records-including exchangewide open interest highs-in the days leading up to expiration of June contracts in many CME products.

CME Contract Specifications Changes: Eurodollar Options And Mid-Curve Eurodollar Options

The CME Contract Specifications pages on the CME's Web site have been updated to reflect the following: Effective Monday, June 11, Eurodollar Options and Mid-Curve Eurodollar Options are allowed to settle at quarter-tick increments up to 10 ticks, or 0.10 IMM index points.
