Deutsche Börse released the tentative figures on Tuesday; the final figures, based on the Xetra closing prices from Friday and the number of shares admitted to trading at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, will be published at the Deutsche Börse website on Saturday.

Members of the Chicago Board of Trade on June 11, 2001, voted approval to to reduce the sponsorship requirement for CBOT® membership applicants from two sponsors to one. The vote for this proposal was 342 1/6 for and 65 1/6 against.
CBOE Announces Record Volume In Options On Isharessm S&P 100® Index Fund (OEF)

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that a single-day volume record for trading options on the iSharesSM S&P 100® Index Fund (ticker symbol OEF) was established on Monday, June 11, when a total of 26,275 contracts (26,275 calls and 0 puts) traded. Total open interest in OEF options stands at 2,728 contracts.

Metsef reported good results for the year to 30th April 2001, which exceeded our expectations, in a highly competitive trading environment. Turnover was up 10.4% to P938.2m with gross profit up 17.8% to P47.6m. A strong increase of 40.7% in other revenue to P7.8m, coupled with static costs, resulted in profit before tax increasing by 27.5% to P44.0m. Earnings rose 29.4% to P33.6m. Eps also rose 29.4% 165.4t, which was well ahead of our forecast of 156.0t. Dps was increased by 35.2% to 82.5t.
