  • Deutsche Börse: 269 Billion Euros In Turnover On The German Stock Exchanges In November

    The aggregate turnover statistics show that a total volume of 269.9 billion euros was traded on the German stock exchanges in November 2003 - about five percent higher than the previous year's level in monthly turnover (November 2002: 257.3 billion euros). The total comprises 216 billion euros in equities, warrants and exchange-traded funds as well as 53.9 billion euros in fixed-income securities.

  • CME November 2003 Volume - Strong Foreign Exchange And E-miniTM Equity Volumes Result In 9 Percent CME Average Daily Volume Increase<SUP>*</SUP> Compared To Year-Ago Levels

    Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) reported today that exchange-wide November trading volume totaled 44.6 million contracts. November average daily volume was 2.3 million*, a 9 percent increase over year-ago levels. Year-to-date volume is 584.2 million, already surpassing the exchange's 2002 annual volume record of 558.4 million.

  • CBOT Fed Funds November Settlement

    The CBOT® 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract for November 2003 was cash settled on December 1 at a final settlement price of 99.004, for an average daily effective federal funds rate of 0.996 percent during the delivery month.   • CBOE Registers Volume Gain For Third Consecutive Month

    The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), the world's largest options exchange, announced today that volume at CBOE during November totaled 23,084,363 contracts, a rise of 7% when compared to the year-ago level. This marked the third consecutive month that exchange volume at CBOE posted a gain over the 2002 total.
