  • Nymex To Amend Spot Month Assessment Procedure For Physically Delivered Energy Contracts

    The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today announced that it would split its spot month assessment into a two-step process for all of its NYMEX Division physically delivered energy futures contracts beginning with the expiration of the September 2002 contracts.

  • National Stock Exchange Of Lithuania Monthly Bulletin - July 2002

    In July 2002, there was a summery slowdown in share trading, whereas trading in debt securities increased significantly. Although the number of transactions in the Government securities was slightly smaller than in June, their turnover was the largest this year and amounted to LTL 155 million, which is 5.7 times more than in July 2001. In the total turnover, shares accounted for as little as 15.3%. Share turnover was similar to that of June, yet, it was by one fourth smaller than in July 2001.

  • CME To Make 'E-history' Historical Data Available To Futures Traders Via The Internet

    Beginning on Monday, Aug. 12, Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) will offer "CME E-history" to the trading community via its Web site at www.cme.com. The new fee-based service will automate the process of supplying users with historical price data for CME futures and options on futures - data that is used to analyze price trends over a period of time.

  • CBOT® Enhances Its Municipal Bond Contract - Will List December 2002 Contract On August 8, 2002

    The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) yesterday announced that it will introduce a new pricing mechanism for The Bond BuyerTM 40 Municipal Bond Index (BBI-40) in its first step toward re-engineering its Municipal Bond Index futures contract. The first delivery month affected will be the December 2002 contract, which will be listed on Thursday, August 8, 2002.

  • CBOT To Launch Options On Swap Futures Contracts

    The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOTÒ) today announced the expansion of its swaps complex to include options on 10-Year and 5-Year Interest Rate Swap futures. ABN AMRO Bank N.V., currently the designated open auction and electronic market maker for the complex's existing 10-Year and 5-Year Swap futures, also will make markets for CBOT® options on Swap futures. The CBOT expects to launch these new contracts in its open auction and electronic markets in the early fall of 2002.
