  • CBOT's Mini-sized DJIA Futures Contract Sets Volume Record

    The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) today announced that its members set a new daily volume record for mini-sized DowSM Jones futures on the exchange's electronic trading platform with 29,492 contracts traded on January 23, breaking the previous record of 28,717 contracts set on October 9, 2002. Total volume for Dow Jones futures and options was 53,460, with 22,851 contracts traded in the CBOT's open auction marketplace.
