    Turnover In April 2002, the total turnover of all market segments of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) amounted to SIT 40.92 billion, which exceeded the March results by SIT 3.6 billion and was also SIT 11.9 billion above the monthly average of the previous year. During the first four months of 2002, the total turnover grew by 59% compared to the same period in 2001.

Its strong growth has accelerated, with twenty-five million contracts trading on ISE in its first year and one hundred-and-one million contracts trading during its second year.

  • HKEx: Futures And Options Markets Arrangements Following Today's Trading Interruption - Update

    Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) said today that futures and options trading was interrupted at 3:12 pm due to a power failure. The UPS system failed to immediately takeover. Conversion to the alternative back-up centre took place at 4:00pm. The Exchange is required to provide participants 30 minutes notice prior to reopening. The Exchange in consultation with the Securities and Futures Commission made the decision not to re-open the markets.
