Futures & Options On RTS Stock Exchange Derivatives Market: December 9th-December 20th

For the period of December 9th-December 20th, 2002, the total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on RTS) equalled 1 064 thousand contracts. In terms of underlying value total trading volume reached 4 741 million rubles. The number of trades reached 23 344. The daily average turnover equaled 118 thousand contracts, or 527 million rubles, compared with 116 thousand contracts and 512 million rubles daily for the period of December 2nd-December 6th.

Pacific Exchange Trading Options On iShares

As the year comes to a close, growth expectations have caused the treasury yield curve to steepen. The 2-year Treasury note yield has dipped approximately 20 basis points in the past month and now hovers around 1.75%.
