Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P Canadian Indices

Pursuant to quarterly rebalancing methodology, Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/CDNX Composite Index effective after the close of trading on Friday, April 19, 2002. As of the close of trading on Wednesday, April 3, 2002, the index was comprised of 528 companies. A total of 80 companies will be removed from the index and 107 new companies will be added. The revised index will therefore be made up of 555 companies.

The Kosdaq Stock Market, Inc. has developed and launched the English Electronic Disclosure System on April 3, 2002 in order to meet the increasing demand of foreign investors in the Kosdaq Stock Market. ICE And IPE Report Record Volumes - ICE Yields Strong Results At Close Of Q1,

IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. (ICE) and International Petroleum Exchange Ltd.(IPE), the ICE-owned energy futures market, report record volumes at the close of Q1 2002, with significant growth in most product categories. Transaction volume for the quarter at ICE increased 979 percent, or nearly ten times, when compared to the first quarter of 2001, with the notional value of transactions increasing by 499 percent, or nearly five times.

Copenhagen Stock Exchange: Share Trading Volume In March 2002 At Its Highest Since July 2001

The turnover in shares and unit trusts came to just under DKK 2 billion a day in March, which is the highest average daily turnover since the new reporting rules were implemented in July last year. Compared with February 2002, the daily turnover increased by 20 per cent.
