Wintrust Financial Corporation To Join NASDAQ Financial-100 Index

Wintrust Financial Corporation (NASDAQ:WTFC) of Lake Forest, Illinois, will become a component of the NASDAQ Financial-100 Index® effective at the beginning of trading Friday, February 14, 2003. Wintrust Financial Corporation will replace American Financial Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMFH).
SWX Swiss Exchange Sanctions SAirGroup For Violation Of Provisions Governing Ad Hoc Publicity

On 21 December 2001, the Disciplinary Commission of the SWX Swiss Exchange determined that SAirGroup had violated the disclosure requirements of Art. 72 of the Listing Rules (Ad hoc publicity). At that time, SWX could not publish the decision because SAirGroup appealed the ruling to the SWX Arbitral Tribunal. Prior to a verdict by that body, the appeal was withdrawn by SAirGroup on 30 January 2003. The disciplinary ruling is therefore now legally binding.

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index change effective after the close of business on Monday, February 10, 2003: The relative weight of Shiningbank Energy Income Fund (TSX: SHN.UN) will increase by approximately 0.18% in the S&P/TSX Canadian Income Trust Index and by approximately 0.45% in the S&P/TSX Canadian Energy Trust Index. Philadelphia Stock Exchange Announces January Volume

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today that for the month of January, equity trading volume increased 35.14% when 281,118,277 shares traded compared to the same month last year when 208 016,767 shares traded. Equity volume increased 22.79% compared to the previous month's volume when 228,940,265 shares traded.

New Listing Rules, Requiring The Observance Of The Code Of Corporate Behaviour, Came Into Force On MICEX On 1 February

They require issuers to observe the Code of corporate behaviour and provide reports in compliance with the International Accounting Standards.
