  • Deutsche Börse: First Fixed-Income ETF In Europe Launched In XTF Segment

    The first exchange-traded fund (ETF) on a fixed-income index in Europe was launched on Thursday in the XTF segment of Deutsche Börse. The ETF eb.rexx Government Germany EX is issued by Indexchange and tracks the Eurex Bonds Government Germany index (eb.rexx). The eb.rexx Government Germany index comprises the 25 most liquid German government bonds on the Eurex Bonds trading platform and is calculated by Deutsche Börse.

(NYSE: CME) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared its first regular quarterly dividend of 14 cents per share, payable on March 25, 2003 to Class A and Class B shareholders of record on March 10, 2003. At Dec. 31, 2002, the company had approximately 32.6 million Class A shares and 3,138 Class B shares of common stock.

    On 16 December 2002, the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority ("APRA") and the Australian Taxation Office ("ATO") published new guidelines for the use of instalment warrants by superannuation trustees. ASX has welcomed these guidelines, which were designed to provide clarity and certainty to trustees and investors using instalment warrants in regulated super funds.
