iShares Launches Four New Trackers (ETFs) On Euronext Amsterdam - Dutch Investors Get Trackers Access To China, Japan And European Small- And Mid-Cap Markets

Barclays Global Investors (BGI), the world's largest provider of exchange traded funds (ETFs), today announces the listing of four new iShares on Euronext Amsterdam. The new Trackers (ETFs), which start trading today, will, for the first time, give Dutch investors local access to China (iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25), Japan (iShares MSCI Japan), and European small- and mid-cap markets (iShares DJ Euro STOXX SmallCap and iShares DJ Euro STOXX MidCap).

The international derivatives market Eurex announced on Thursday that it will extend its initiative to further attract business from the over-the-counter (OTC) market by introducing new wholesale pricing for extra-large block trades in all European equity options. Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/ASX 50 Index effective after the close of trading Monday February 21st 2005: Macquarie Infrastructure Group (Australia, SEDOL: 6456942, GICS Code: 20305020) a member of the S&P/ASX 50 Index will increase its shares to 2,164,889,622. The Investible Weight Factor (IWF) will remain unchanged. This change is due a Dividend Reinvestment Plan.
