  • Eurex Bonds Expands Product Range With European Bonds - Bonds From International Issuers Tradable As Of November 15

    The international trading platform Eurex Bonds is poised to expand its range of products in a number of stages, offering bonds from international issuers as well as corporate bonds for the first time. The first stage will involve the addition of a total of 43 new bonds - European Investment Bank bonds and European covered bonds from Spain, France, the United Kingdom and Ireland - on November 15. In addition, Eurex Bonds plans to admit selected corporate bonds before the end of the year.

  • Chicago Stock Exchange Members Approve Demutualization Plan - Securities And Exchange Commission To Consider

    Holders of the Chicago Stock Exchange's (CHX) memberships voted yesterday in favor of a plan to demutualize the Exchange. The vote was 314 in favor, 1 against and 1 abstention. The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will now consider the plan for approval. This decision by the CHX's members to demutualize cannot take effect until approved by the SEC.
