GL TRADE, First SWX Swiss Exchange FIX Network Connectivity Provider

GL TRADE, global provider of electronic trading, clearing and settlement solutions, is the first ISV to acquire the Network Connectivity Provider status, having developed a Service Bureau offer in conjunction with SWX Swiss Exchange. This service, developed after intensive consultations with the SWX Swiss Exchange, will offer members connectivity to both SWX and virt-x trading platforms, with a more streamlined and cost effective approach.

CME Trading Activity In May* Sets Third Straight All-Time Monthly Record As Average Daily Volume Exceeds 3.4 Million - May GLOBEX® Volume Increases 92 Percent Versus Year-Ago Level And Accounts For 55 Percent Of Total

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME), the largest U.S. futures exchange, today announced that it set a new all-time monthly volume record in May as average daily volume (ADV) exceeded 3.4 million contracts*, up 32 percent compared to May 2003. Average daily volume on CME’s GLOBEX® electronic trading platform also hit a new monthly record of 1.9 million contracts per day, up 92 percent compared to May 2003, and constituted 55 percent of total trading, also a new record.

The CBOT® 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract for May 2004 was cash settled this morning at a final settlement price of 98.995 , for an average daily effective federal funds rate of 1.005 percent during the delivery month. CBOE Volume Gains For The Ninth Consecutive Month - Rises 22% In May

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), the world's largest options exchange, announced today that May volume totaled 27,906,821 contracts traded, an increase of 22% over the May 2003 volume of 22,928,895 contracts. This was the ninth consecutive month that CBOE registered volume gains over year-ago levels. Through the end of May, CBOE's year-to-date volume of 154,176,810 contracts traded is 41% ahead of 2003's pace.
