Standard & Poor's wishes to announce that, effective February 5, 2003, the website to access global index information will be changed from www.spglobal.com to www.standardandpoors.com. Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index: After the close of trading on Tuesday, January 28, 2003, Metalex Ventures Ltd. (TSXVN:MTX.T) will change its ticker symbol to "MTX" pursuant to a Company Filing Statement dated January 21, 2003. There is no consolidation of capital.

Securities And Futures Commission And HKEx: New Memorandum Of Understanding Governing Listing Matters
The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (SEHK), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today. The MOU takes immediate effect and replaces the memorandum, its addendum and supplements which were signed between the two organisations in March and August 2000.

CBOT® Enhances Liquidity In Agency Futures With Appointment Of Abn Amro As Market Maker
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) today announced that it has appointed ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as the designated primary market maker for 10-year and 5-year Agency note futures. Under the terms of the market making agreement ABN AMRO will provide two-sided open auction markets, with a bid/offer spread no wider than 2/32nds on depth of at least 250 contracts, on a continuous basis during open outcry trading hours. CBOT® DOW Jones-AIG Commodity Index Futures Contract 2002 Performance Overshadows Equity Index Results; Contract Reaches Open Interest Record
