Giovanni Prezioso, SEC General Counsel, To Leave The Commission

Giovanni Prezioso, General Counsel of the Securities and Exchange Commission, announced today that he will leave the Commission to return to the private sector. Prezioso, 47, was named General Counsel in April 2002. He has not yet accepted another position and will remain at the Commission until early 2006 to assist with transition matters.

CME Renews MOU With The Korea Exchange

CBOT Exchange-Wide Volume Surpasses Six Million Contracts - CBOT’s Electronic Trading Platform Achieves Record Volume Of More Than Four Million Contracts

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) announced today that the Exchange achieved a new daily volume record of 6,003,976 contracts on November 29, surging past the previous record of 5,852,889 contracts set on February 28, 2005. The Exchange’s electronic trading platform also set a volume record of 4,211,359 contracts, exceeding the previous record of 3,975,649 contracts set on August 31, 2005.
