  • CBOT Exchange-Wide Volume Surpasses Six Million Contracts - CBOT’s Electronic Trading Platform Achieves Record Volume Of More Than Four Million Contracts

    The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) announced today that the Exchange achieved a new daily volume record of 6,003,976 contracts on November 29, surging past the previous record of 5,852,889 contracts set on February 28, 2005. The Exchange’s electronic trading platform also set a volume record of 4,211,359 contracts, exceeding the previous record of 3,975,649 contracts set on August 31, 2005.
