For the week of May 5th – May 14th, 2004, total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on the RTS) increased by 10% in contracts and 18% in rubles and reached 1 239 thousand contracts and 9 002 million rubles. Total open interest as of May 14th, 2004 increased by 2% in rubles and 6% in contracts and reached 7 666 million rubles and 101 thousand contracts.

Deutsche Börse: First IPO In Germany In 2004 - MIFA Listed On The Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB)- Ferscha: General Standard Offers Effective Access To Capital
MIFA Mitteldeutsche Fahrradwerke AG's listing in the General Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB) on Monday represents the first IPO of the year. The announcement was made by Deutsche Börse, as operator of the FWB. MIFA is listed in the General Standard segment and its shares were initially priced at €9.30.

GL TRADE, the leading provider of financial data feed, clearing, trading and settlement solutions, has developed a gateway to the Leipzig-based European Energy Exchange (EEX). CALYON FINANCIAL, formerly known as CARR FUTURES, global derivative brokers, have taken up this connection through GL NET. This arrangement enables CALYON FINANCIAL to collect orders from other brokers to trade Electricity Futures listed on the Exchange without being full members themselves.

Neither a trading participant (for its own account) nor a customer may hold an aggregate position in contract units on an Equity Option in excess of such number of contracts units having shares of underlying stock equal to following amounts of combining short positions in put options with long positions in call options of the same underlying stock or combining long positions in put options with short positions in call options of the same underlying stock.

Strong Performance Of Euronext First Quarter Revenues: €236.7m, A +10.5% Increase On The Comparable Revenues For 2003
Euronext NV publishes quarterly revenues of €236.7m. This represents an increase of 10.5% compared with the same period in 2003. Again, our derivatives business showed strong growth in volumes traded, + 29.8% compared to a year ago, generating revenues in progress of 17% year on year, in line with the business mix. All business lines, with the exception of cash trading and information services that slightly declined, delivered strong revenue growth.
