BOVESPA's Foreign Investment Balance In September 2004
BOVESPA's foreign investment net outflow amounted to US$ 156.27 million in September, resulting from purchases of US$ 1.996 billion and sales of US$ 2.152 billion. Thus, BOVESPA's year-to-date balance on foreign capital totaled US$ 204.07 million, as of September 30.

Standard & Poor’s Announces Changes To The S&P Europe-Registered Funds Index
Standard & Poor’s, the leading provider of independent investment research, indices and ratings, will make the following changes to the S&P Europe-Registered Funds Index (S&P ERFI): Within the S&P ERFI U.S. Equity sector, the Merrill Lynch International Investment Funds U.S. Equity Fund will be closing. As a result, the S&P ERFI Index Committee will be replacing this fund with the Merrill Lynch International Investment Funds U.S. Flexible Equity Fund, effective November 1, 2004.

Securities Industry Association Needs More Details To Evaluate How NYSE’s Hybrid Market Proposal Will Benefit Investors, Capital Markets

Record September Trading Volumes For Euronext.liffe White Sugar Futures And Milling Wheat Futures Contracts

Oslo Børs: Liquidity Categories And Information Symbols In Use From Today
Starting today, companies listed on Oslo Børs will be categorised on the basis of liquidity in their shares. This new approach to presenting companies can already be seen on the Oslo Børs web site and elsewhere, and a number of Norwegian newspapers will start to use the categories tomorrow.
