Thai And Vietnam Exchanges Promote Ventures To List

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) will continue to provide technical assistance in IT systems and maintenance to The HoChiMinh City Securities Trading Center (HoSTC) for another five years. Both exchanges will also encourage the listing of Thai-Vietnamese joint ventures on the SET.

More than 118 million cash transactions were registered during the first three quarters of 2005, up 12.9% on the same period in 2004, representing a daily average of 616,000. OneChicago Reports 81% Increase In September Volume, Up 151% YTD

OneChicago, LLC today reported that 538,267 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in September, 81% higher than September 2004 volume. The average daily volume in September was 25,632. Year-to-date volume is up 151%. Open interest stood at 1,093,032 contracts on Sept. 30.
