American Stock Exchange Publishes New Palomar Healthcare Technology Index

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) announced today that it has begun publishing the Palomar Healthcare Technology Index (Ticker Symbol: ZHI); a new index comprised of publicly traded companies engaged in Healthcare Informatics, Medical Instruments and Medical Appliances.

TSX Market On Close (MOC) – Quarter End Index Rebalancing Performance Report

Friday, December 16, 2005 was the quarter end rebalancing for the S&P/TSX Composite Index. All symbols of the S&P/TSX Composite and new additions to the composite were MOC eligible. In addition, symbols of the S&P/TSX Income Trust Index were also MOC eligible. There was significant market activity at the market close and TSX Markets today is reporting on that activity.

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Monday, December 19, 2005: Resin Systems Inc. (TSXVN:RS) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to the TSX to trade under the same ticker symbol.
