Archipelago Holdings Appoints Former Fidelity Capital Markets COO Matthew Gelber Managing Director, Options - Gelber To Head Archipelago's Newly-Acquired Options Business
Archipelago Holdings, Inc., operator of the Archipelago Exchange(SM) (ArcaEx(R)), the world's first totally open, all-electronic stock exchange, today announced the appointment of former Fidelity Capital Markets Chief Operating Officer Matthew Gelber to the position of Managing Director. In Gelber's new role, he will be responsible for driving Archipelago's options business and will initially be charged with managing the integration of the newly acquired PCX's options exchange.

Winnipeg Commodity Exchange: Feed Wheat Futures Continue To Set Record Lows
Feed wheat futures prices at the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange closed out the month of December at new record lows. The March 2005 futures contract closed at $79.50 per metric tonne on December 31, a drop of $7.40 per metric tonne from the closing price on November 30 and down more than 50 percent from the contract high of $161.00 on June 15, 2004. Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Volume And Open Interest End 2004 With Increases
Trading in futures contracts on Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. during December 2004 ended the month 24.6% higher than the volumes recorded a year ago and 44.6% higher than volumes recorded last month. There were 209,946 futures contracts traded during the month.

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange To Begin Trading Options On Four New Susquehanna Investment Group (SIG) Indices - “ Trading To Begin On Monday, January 10”
The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) announced today that it will begin trading options on four innovative SIG Indices on Monday, January 10. The launch of these SIG indices follow the successful launch of the SIG Steel Producers Index (STQSM) on Dec. 22, 2004. SIG will be the specialist for the new indices listed below.

SWX Swiss Exchange: Revised Rules On Ad Hoc Publicity
From 1 July 2005, ad hoc publicity on the SWX Swiss Exchange will be governed by revised provisions (Art. 72 Listing Rules [LR]). The Admission Board of the SWX adopted the new rules on 30 September 2004. The purpose of the revision is to take account of the practice of the SWX and adjust some of the phraseology. Details are governed by the Ad hoc Publicity Directive (AhPD). Other details will be set out in a Commentary.
