  • CBOT Fed Watch - August 8 Market Close

    In advance of this week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on August 9, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.

Domestic turnover in July was EUR 71,149.3 million, foreign turnover EUR 6,726.1 million, Nuovo Mercato, Domestic, EUR 1,446.8 million, Nuovo Mercato, Foreign EUR 80.4 million and on the Mercarto Expandi market EUR 65.3 million.

  • Based On Friday Review RTS Index Futures Moved To 2nd Place In FORTS Turnover

    Based on the results of Friday trades, August 5, 2005, RTS index futures turnover equaled to 9,6 thousand contracts or 443,6 million rubles. 172 deals were made. RTS index futures made up 18,9% of the whole trading volume on FORTS Derivatives Market. These contracts moved to 2 nd place, giving way only to RAO "UES of Russia" futures (25,9% of the turnover on FORTS). RTS index futures drove back liquid contracts such as “Gazprom” (17,3%) and “LUKOil” (17,1%) futures to 3 rd and 4 th places.
