Korea Exchange Preliminary Margin For USD Futures Lowered By 20%

In line with the recent steep fall in won-dollar exchange rate, Korea Exchange (KRX) has lowered preliminary margin for USD futures by 20% from 2 million won per contract to 1.6 million based on the latest exchange rate of 960 won per dollar, effective on February 6, 2006.

ICE To Begin Introduction Of Over 50 New OTC Cleared Contracts - Initial Listing Of Ten Contracts On March 3

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading electronic energy marketplace, announced plans to introduce more than 50 additional cleared contracts in its over-the-counter (OTC) markets during the first half of 2006, with the first ten contracts expected to be available for trading beginning Friday, March 3.

HKEx Changes Of Designated Securities For Short Selling

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announces that with effect from 20 February 2006 (Monday), 10 additional securities will be eligible for short selling and eight existing designated securities will be removed from the list. The total number of designated securities for short selling will be 279 after the revision.

Single Stock Futures On Eurex Show Strong Growth In First Three Months Of Trading - Future On Hypo Real Estate To Be Listed On February 20 - Offering Of Designated Market Making Program Until December 2006

Eurex, the world's largest derivatives exchange, announced today that trading in single stock futures on the exchange has seen strong growth in its first three months. Trading volumes in January rose to approximately 287,000 contracts, compared to 61,932 contracts traded in December 2005 and 13,642 contracts traded in November 2005. At the end of January, open interest in the single stock futures was 328,000 contracts.

SEC Extends Deadline For Companies To Join Interactive Data Test Group
