Securities Industry Automation Corporation (SIAC) Chief Executive Officer Marianne C. Brown has submitted her resignation to the SIAC board of directors, effective October 20, in order to assume a senior management position with an undisclosed corporation. Upon her departure, Jerry Putnam, SIAC Chairman and President and co-Chief Operating Officer, NYSE Group, Inc. (NYSE: NYX) will assume the role of interim CEO and Thomas Demchak, Senior Vice President, will become Chief Operating Officer.
