    At its meeting on 27 April, the Board of Oslo Børs resolved to admit shares in Renewable Energy Corporation to listing on the Main List of Oslo Børs. At the same meeting, the Board considered an appeal by Fondsfinans and reaffirmed its decision of 29 March to impose a violation charge on Fondsfinans.

  • LME Appeals Against The OFT's Interim Measures Direction

    The London Metal Exchange (LME) has lodged an appeal against the UK Office of Fair Trading (OFT) challenging the Interim Measures Direction imposed on the LME on 27 February 2006. The LME had intended to extend the opening hours of its Electronic Trading Platform (ETP), LME Select, with effect from 1 March 2006 for Asian trading hours.

  • HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Futures Contracts

    Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 2 May 2006, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining methodology.
