Oslo Børs Holding ASA - 1st Quarter 2006

The first quarter of 2006 was the fifth in a row with record level of activity in the Norwegian security market. There were record activities in the areas of equity, fixed income, derivatives and market data in the quarter. Børs Holding ASA recorded an operating profit of NOK 68.3 (37.0) and a post-tax profit of NOK 50.1 (34.9) million for the first quarter of 2006.

NYSE Arca Trading Volume Reaches All-Time Record - 1.1 Billion Shares Handled Marks Volume Milestone And First Billion Share Trading Day

NYSE ArcaSM (formerly known as the Archipelago Exchange, or ArcaEx®), the nation’s first open, all-electronic stock exchange, reached an all-time record in consolidated volume with 1.1 billion shares handled, representing a dollar value of $39.8 billion on April 27. This record volume is also the first time that NYSE Arca volume exceeded 1 billion shares handled in a single day.

NASDAQ Announces Pricing Of $691 Million Offering Of Common Stock

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (NASDAQ: NDAQ), announced today the pricing of a common stock offering of 18,500,000 shares of NASDAQ's common stock at $37.36 per share, less underwriting discount and offering expenses, for total net proceeds of approximately $664.5 million.
