    The board of directors of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) held its first meeting on 3 December 2007. The board elected Dr. Fahad Almubarak as Chairman and Taha Alkuwaiz as Vice Chairman. The exchange board also appointed Abdullah Alsuweilmy as Chief Executive Officer. The Saudi Stock Exchange was recently incorporated as a joint stock company with a capitalization of SR 1.2 billion.
