CBOT Fed Funds Options Open Interest Surpasses 1 Million To New Record
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) today announced that CBOT 30-Day Fed Funds options open interest reached an all-time record of 1,041,977 contracts on June 29, surpassing the one million mark for the first time. This new peak in open interest is the fourth consecutive session of record-setting activity for the contract.

Canadian KPMG And Two Of Its Partners Settle SEC's Auditor Independence Charges
The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced a settled enforcement action against KPMG LLP (KPMG Canada), a Canadian audit firm, and two of its partners, Gary Bentham, the audit engagement partner, and John Gordon, the concurring and SEC reviewing partner. Thailand Futures Exchange Has Open House To Clarify Rules & Regulations Concerning SET50 Index Futures Trading & Will Hold Joint System Test With Brokers By September 2005
The Thailand Futures Exchange Pcl. (TFEX) had an open house to clarify the rules & regulations concerning the trading of its first product, the SET50 Index Futures, set to commence trading by the end of this year. TFEX will also hold a joint system test with the brokers by September 2005.
