Shelley Parratt Named Acting Director Of SEC's Division Of Corporation Finance

Update - Withholding Tax Rates For Greece In The S&P Indices

Following last week’s release regarding Standard & Poor’s update to the foreign withholding tax rates for several countries, S&P announced today that it will not update Greece’s withholding tax rate at this time. The Greek Finance Ministry has postponed the change until April 2009. The foreign withholding tax rate will remain at zero. S&P will issue a notice announcing the effective date of the update to all S&P Greek and related indices once local regulators make the change official.
