BEST Brazil Ends 2007 With 739 Participants

The Brazilian Mercantile & Futures Exchange (BM&F), the São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa), the Brazilian Clearing and Depository Corporation (CBLC), and the National Association of Investment Banks (ANBID) promoted the Asian edition of BEST Brazil on the 6th, 8th, and 9th of November 2007. This year, besides Singapore and Hong Kong, the event was also held in Tokyo.

Jury Rules In SEC's Favor, Finds Former Chairman/CEO Of Chancellor Corporation Liable For Securities Fraud

The Securities and Exchange Commission announced that a federal court jury returned a verdict today in the SEC's favor on all securities fraud charges against Brian M. Adley, who is the former chairman, chief executive officer and controlling shareholder of Chancellor Corporation, a defunct Boston-based transportation equipment-leasing company.

RTS: Trading On Mutual Fund "Nevo-Invest" Investment Funds

Starting from November 16, 2007 on the Classic and T+O markets trading on Mutual Fund Nevo-Invest investment funds under the Museum Asset Management has resumed (Classic market ticker – MUZENI, T+O market ticker – MUZENIG). On November 9, 2007 there was an operation of splitting in the registry of investment funds. Splitting coefficient is - 1:100 – one investment fund converted into 100 investment funds.
