SEC Announces 100 Percent Return Of Funds To Defrauded Bio-Heal Investors

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced the mailing of checks totaling more than $2.7 million to 833 investors who were victims of the fraudulent promotion and sale of illegally issued shares of Bio-Heal Laboratories, Inc. The Fair Fund distribution represents a 100 percent return of the defrauded investors' money.

CME Group Announces Thanksgiving Day Holiday Hours

On Nov. 13, 2007, the open interest of Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA) futures contracts on Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange ( ZCE) hit a new high again at 198126 contracts, exceeding the last record of 194840 contracts set on Nov. 12, 2007.

SEC: Chevron To Pay $30 Million To Settle Charges For Improper Payments To Iraq Under U.N. Oil For Food Program

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged Chevron Corporation for its role in illegal kickback payments that were made to Iraq in 2001 and 2002 in connection with the company's purchases of crude oil under the U.N. Oil for Food Program.
