CME Group Files Registration Statement Related To Proposed Acquisition Of NYMEX Holdings Inc.

CME Group Inc. (NYSE: CME)(NASDAQ: CME) today announced the filing of a Registration Statement on Form S-4 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) containing a preliminary joint proxy statement/prospectus related to its proposed transaction with NYMEX Holdings, Inc. CME Group and NYMEX Holdings stockholders and members of NYMEX are expected to vote on the transaction and related matters later this year.
HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Three-Month HIBOR Futures Contract

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Friday, 13 June 2008, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

Companies raised a record £23.2 billion through new and further issues on the London Stock Exchange’s markets during May, the most money ever raised on the Exchange’s equity markets in a single month.
