(NYSE: CME)(NASDAQ: CME) today announced the filing of a Registration Statement on Form S-4 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) containing a preliminary joint proxy statement/prospectus related to its proposed transaction with NYMEX Holdings, Inc. CME Group and NYMEX Holdings stockholders and members of NYMEX are expected to vote on the transaction and related matters later this year.

The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

    Companies raised a record £23.2 billion through new and further issues on the London Stock Exchange’s markets during May, the most money ever raised on the Exchange’s equity markets in a single month. This was nearly three times the £8.6 billion raised during May 2007 and double the £11.2 billion raised during July 2006, the previous record month.
